Will Go Power Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter # 34280175 Charge Phone Battery and Power Fan
Question:
Im wanting to power an inverter off of a single 12 marine style battery in my 10 foot cargo trailer that Ive converted into a small camper. I plan to only power a small room fan and charge cell phone overnight. Will this inverter do the trick with a single 12V marine battery? If not what size inverter and battery setup would I need? Also, do I need to ground the inverter to the trailer and add a fuse between the battery and inverter?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Go Power Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter # 34280175 would work great to power your small fan and charge your cell phone when connected to your 12 volt marine battery. This would need to connect to the positive and ground of your battery but it would not require you to use any additional circuit protection.
