Can Trailer's Winch Battery Be Charged by Trailer Wiring
Question:
I want to install a battery on my utility trailer to power my winch, is this something I can do using my my 7plug connector? And how do I hook it up ?

Using the 12 volt pin of your trailer's 7-way you can put a maintenance charge on the trailer battery to help keep it topped off. For that you'd want to run 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) from the 1:00 pin of your 7-way to the positive post of your battery and you'd be set.
