Will the Kuat Pivot Swing Away Work With the GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier?

Wondering if this would be ok to use with the GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier as long as the load stays within the weight limit of 250lbs?

The Kuat Pivot Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks is rated for a maximum weight of 250 lbs. The GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Slide Out - 17 cu ft - 300 lbs - Black # H00604 can be used with this extender as long as you account for the 80 lb carrier and keep the cargo in the carrier to 170 lbs or less.
You will also need to account for the 46 lb swinging extender in your hitch tongue weight capacity max when accounting for the complete load. I don't recommend leaving the pivot extended for long periods of time while cargo carrier is loaded because that is a lot of torque on your hitch.
