How to Use the Yakima HitchSki 02418 with the Yakima FullSwing 02465
Question:
I purchased a Yakima full swing over the summer and I want to use the hitchski during the winter. After investigating the setup of the full swing, my question is how does the passenger side of the full swing secure to the hitch ski. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Yakima HitchSki Snowboard and Ski Carrier part # Y02418 is fit confirmed fit for the Yakima FullSwing 4 Bike Rack part # Y02465 so you should not have any issues. The two arms on the FullSwing are more or less the same for the exception that one side has the male end of the lock cable and the other side has the female end of the locking cable. The HitchSki will attach to both of these arms the same way which you should be able to see in the sample photo/video I have attached for you. There is no difference between the two sides of the FullSwing in regards to how you will attach the HitchSki.
If this is not what you are referring to them please let me know and I will see if I an offer a better explanation as to how they fit one another.
