Recommended Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier to Transport 2 Kayaks on a 2019 Toyota 4Runner
Question:
Looking to carry a few kayaks with my 2019 Toyota 4Runner. What roof rack and carrier do you recommend to do this?

I recommend going with the Yakima JetStream crossbar roof rack system on your 2019 Toyota 4Runner because it gives you a great aerodynamic roof rack system that doesn't require you to cut the rubber strips for the installation. This means you can use it for a variety of applications and accessories without modifying anything.
The parts that you would need for this system are the 50" JetStream Bars # Y00425 and the TimberLine Towers # Y33TR. By adding the lock kit # Y07204 you can deter theft of both your roof rack and any T-Slot mounted accessories as well.
Then for a kayak carrier I recommend the Yakima JayLow # Y04073 because it allows you to carry up to 2 kayaks, can fold down when not in use, and can also be keyed alike with your roof rack using the lock kit # Y07206. To carry 2 kayaks you will need a second set of tie-downs which you can acquire with part # Y04031.
I also recommend using the Yakima Hood Anchor # Y07416 to help quickly and easily secure your kayak(s). These are placed under your hood and/or tailgate and give you loops to connect your tie-downs to.
Attached is a photo of this exact setup on a similar Toyota 4Runner as well as a review video for you to check out.
