Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Towing Trailer with 2019 Kia Soul
Question:
Im going to be moving my wife from California to colorado, using a uhaul trailer, if i attached this hitch to her 2019 Kia Soul would i be able to make it with her car? Shes got roughly 900-1400lbs of stuff, and i intend on renting a 5x8 trailer. Would this hitch and her vehicle be good for this move or should i go find another method?

For your 2019 Kia Soul the Draw Tite hitch part # 24915 is a confirmed fit and has a capacity of 2,000 lbs which according to my research is the same capacity as the car. This would be more than enough for a 900 to 1,400 lbs of trailer weight.
For trailer wiring the Tekonsha kit part # 118637 is the kit you want since it doesn't require any splicing and has the most reliable converter box of all of the kits we offer. Then for a ball mount you'd want the part # 3593 and for hitch balls you'd want the part # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or part # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
