TireMinder Tire Pressure Monitoring System for Multiple Trailers
Question:
I already have a Tire Minder solar powered 4 wheel system installed on my camping trailer. I just purchased a second trailer with a single axle. Can I purchase two additional transmitters and a signal booster for my new trailer and use my current 2-axle display? Otherwise, would I have to purchase a second system for a single axle and have two displays mounted on my windshield?

I spoke with my contact regarding your existing solar powered TireMinder Tire Pressure Monitoring System. We do not currently have this particular kit but she said that it is really only designed to be used with one trailer. The transmitters with that system are specific to the monitor so additional transmitters could only be added if the ones you currently have on your camping trailer are "deleted" from the system.. This means you would need to go through the process of deleting and relearning the transmitters with the monitor every time you switch trailers.
With this in mind your best option if you plan on towing both trailers would be to replace what you have with a different system like the TireMinder i10 # TM29FR. This system is different than the solar powered kit because the transmitters can be easily added (if needed) and it features a "disconnect" option that allows for easy switching between different trailers or towed vehicles.
You would just need this single monitor in your truck and when you are towing one of your trailers the other one just needs to be "disconnected" from the monitor so that you only see the pressures on the tires of the trailer you're currently pulling. No deleting or relearning is necessary. This particular kit includes 6 transmitters so it would be all that you need to cover both your tandem and single axle trailer. Additional transmitters can also be added as this system is capable of monitoring up to 22 tires.
