Recommended Electric Brake Controller and Wiring for 1991 Chevy Kodiak 6500

I have a 91 chevy Kodak 6500...i need the who kit for electric brake set up...can you show me the kit i need

We don't have a specific fit for your 1991 Chevy Kodiak 6500, so I recommend the following. If you don't already have a 4-way flat trailer connector, use the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT which will use quick connects to connect to your factory wiring without splicing into the wiring. This harness will draw power directly from your battery to protect your vehicle. Then you will use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. Because of the long wheelbase you will also need # 10-2-1 sold by the foot.
Then you can use a brake controller of your choice. I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is our most popular option. It is a proportional controller so it will apply your trailer brakes at the same time and with the same amount of force as you hit the brake pedal in your Kodiak.
