Tekonsha Primus IQ Proportional Brake Controller Installation Orientation Tolerances

Question:

Brake controler TK90160 installation dash mounted : Is perfect horizontal level required ? It suppose to be self leveling ! It is not clear in the product description

The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 does not need to be perfectly level vertically or horizontally, but you do want it to be close to level horizontally and oriented toward the driver seat. The internal inertia sensor will allow some very slight variation horizontally but vertically is where you really gain flexibility as the unit can be tilted up to 90 degrees in that direction. I've attached a photo as well as a couple of videos to assist.
