Will Existing Reese 16K 5th Wheel Hitch Fit 2008 GMC Sierra Dually

I have this hitch in my 2016 F250 to pull our 40’ camper, but I am now looking at a 2008 gmc dually, will it be compatible?

Yes, your existing Reese 16K 5th Wheel Hitch # RP30047 will work great in your new 2008 GMC Sierra dually model truck.

In order to mount the hitch you will just need a new set of base rails and frame brackets. For the Sierra I recommend the Reese Quick Install Installation Kit # RP50064-58. These industry standard base rails will work perfectly for your Reese Hitch and the included custom brackets will use existing holes in your truck's frame to eliminate the need to drill into it and it will drastically cut down on installation time.
