Blue Screen on Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera System
Question:
When I put truck into reverse the monitor comes on but I only get a blue screen

The blue screen you have on the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System part # HM50002 is a telltale sign that the monitor has gone bad. If you are within the one year warranty period then you can contact Hopkins for a new monitor but if you are out of the warranty period or not the original purchaser then your only option would be to purchase a new complete system as they do not offer any replacement parts unfortunately.
The bright side is that you would only need to replace the monitor so installation would be super simple. You could either sell the camera portion or keep it for a backup. I wish I had better options for you.
