The wireless brake controller I recommend for your 2019 Chevrolet Suburban is the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180. The Curt Echo is a very popular option for newer vehicles as it requires virtually no modifications to be made. All you do is plug it into the 7-way trailer connector, download the app, walk through the settings, plug the trailer in, and you are ready to go. It uses your mobile phone for all of the settings and manual override so you do not have to learn a new foreign device. The manufacturer only asks that you have some sort of mount to place the phone in while driving.
Some people are hesitant of the Curt Echo at first because they think their trailer brakes won't work if the phone dies and that is not true. If the phone were to die then the brake controller would still function as normal using the most recently used settings. It comes with a lifetime warranty and is made right here in the USA.
Please note that if your Suburban only has a 4-way trailer connector then you will need to use the Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector part # 30955. Also, don't forget to check the fuse box for the trailer brake/battery fuses #36 and #67.
