If Curt Echo Brake Controller Unplugs from 7-Way Are Settings Lost
Question:
Lets say I plug it in and pair it with my iPhone and set it the way I like. Can I unplug it and store it for awhile and then use it again with the same truck and trailer without pairing and setting it again? In other words does it have a non-volatile memory circuit like we said in the old days? Thanks 2009 Ram 1500 w 7-way/4-way

You'll want to pair the Curt Echo # C51180 with your phone every time you use it. The memory feature of it actually stores in the app on your phone and not on the controller. If you unplug it and replug it in and turned off the phone app you would lose the settings and you'd have to re-pair it and connect.
If you unplug the controller and plug it back in without connecting it to your phone the settings would be lost.
