RV Tire Pressure Monitor System for More Than 6 Tires

Question:

Have a 2013 Forest River Vengeance Toy Hauler that has the HWT Series 06 rims. Am thinking on adding the Tuson Tire pressure monitoring system. Had a blow out that cleaned house on the skirting. I need to know what the valve stem hole diameter is to order the correct sensors. Also would the TPMS handle more than the 6 sensors? Want to add one to my spare also.

The 16-inch and smaller sizes of the HWT Series 06 trailer wheels like 16-inch # TTWAL06865HDS have a valve stem hole diameter of 0.453-inches. Larger wheels will have a valve stem hole diameter of 0.625-inches.

The Tuson Towable Tire Pressure Monitoring System # 335TPMS6W4V comes with 6 sensors to fit the 0.453-inch stems but this system cannot be upgraded to read from 7 sensors. In 2019 Tuson will release a 10-sensor setup.

We do now offer the TireMinder RV Tire Pressure Monitoring System # TPMS-APP-6 which uses your smartphone as its display. This too comes with 6 sensors but more CAN be added to this system using 2-piece sensor pack # TM-2BRASS. Up to 22 tires can be monitored.
