Recommended Roof Rack for a 2018 Ford Edge with Panoramic Sunroof

What roof rack do I need for my 2018 Ford Flex? It has the glass panoramic roof and I want to be able to open it with the roof rack installed. Is this possible or do they all sit too low?

All of our roof rack manufacturers recommend keeping the sunroof or moonroof closed when their roof rack is installed. There is no guarantee that there will be clearance, but even if there is enough clearance the wind noise (whistling) will be too loud to be enjoyable.

Your 2018 Ford Flex with the Panoramic Sunroof should have a naked roof (no rails) so I recommend the Rhino-Rack roof rack which uses the 54" Vortex Aero Bars # RRVA137B-2, 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA, and DK fit Kit # DK432.

I like the Rhino-Rack roof racks because they provide quality roof rack options at a competitive price plus they come with locks. The legs use metal cores while the bars use plastic cores. If you want to upgrade to metal cores for the bars too then you can use part # RRVA-LEC4 to do so.
