Recommended Best Tire Chains Compatible with 225/65R17 Tires
Question:
Hi guys , Purchased a K-Summit K44 from you for my 2003 Subaru Outback with 225/60R-16 tires. . Have since upgraded to a 2019 Subaru Outback with 225/65R-17 tires . Can links be added to make my K44s fit ?

The Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - K-Summit - Size K44 # TH02230K44 cannot have chains added to fit the new tire size. You would need the Size K66 # TH02230K66 for the correct fit on your 225/65R17 tires.
If you want other options confirmed to fit, I've attached a link to the confirmed fits. Although the K-Summit is the best option because it has no addition to the internal clearance so there will be plenty of room between the inner sidewall of the tire and wheel well/frame, the Pewag Snox Pro Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # PWSXV580 are also a favorite because they are self-adjusting and made very well. I've attached a video of these chains if you want to consider an alternative option.
