The Brophy Ball Mount - 7" Rise, 8" Drop - 15-1/4" Long - Aluminum - 8,000 lbs # EA80 is only rated for a tongue weight of 800 lbs which most trailer hitch receivers won't be able to handle but most gooseneck trailers will exceed. Gooseneck trailers typically use the 2-5/16 inch hitch ball like # SC30-C that is also the size used with larger bumper pull trailers, however it is not recommended to tow a gooseneck trailer behind your bumper as they are designed to be towed over the rear axle of your truck. The design will not allow you to tow it safely at your bumper even if your tongue weight and GVWR are within the towing abilities of your truck and equipment.

For your 1995 Ford F-150, I recommend installing a gooseneck hitch for this trailer using the Curt Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch # C630-636 or the Curt Double Lock # C60723 for a more versatile option. You will see the vertical load and towing capacities are much different than a bumper pull hitch based on the design and function.

You may want to consider adding a second 7-way to the bed of your truck for easy wiring connection access using # 20023.

With a shortbed truck, any offset you can get will be a help. I recommend using the Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails - 3" Offset - 25,000 lbs # 16055 to pull a gooseneck trailer utilizing your 5th wheel base rails. This will give you slightly more turning clearance so as long as you pay attention on tight turns to your clearances you will be able to safely tow a gooseneck with your short bed F-150.
