Will the Thule Outbound Rooftop Cargo Bag Fit Between the Crossbars on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Will Thule cargo bag Outbound 868 fit my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland...Appears about 27 between crossrails, and the bag appears to be 36.

According to my research, the crossbar spread on your 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland is 32", therefore, the Thule Outbound Rooftop Cargo Bag part # TH868 would work but you would lose about 4" of space in the bag if you placed it between the cross bars or you could always place the bag over the crossbar which you can see in the attach photo.
The other option however would be to install a cargo basket like the Yakima LoadWarrior Cargo Basket part # Y07070 and then place the Thule Outbound Rooftop Cargo Bag inside of this as this will give you the most support and smallest chance of scratching the vehicle's roof.
The best option would be to just install a cargo box like the Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier part # TRX44FR which will give you the best of both worlds, support and protection.
