Can I Use Airbag on a 2019 Ford F-250 with the Factory Prep Package

Question:

I have a 2019 Ford F-250 with the ultimate towing kit that includes the puck system. It is also 4x4. I wanted to add Firestone Red Label 7500# air bags but it appears they are not compatible. Are the Firestone Ride Right 5000# the largest airbag I can install? I would like to pair these bags with a wireless On-Board compressor system from Air Lift. Which one would you recommend? Thank you in advance.

The only airbag kit we have that will fit your 2019 Ford F-250 is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57399 for standard or part # AL88399 for ultimate. The ultimate version has an internal jounce spring which lets you temporarily carry a load with zero air pressure in your springs.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2600 will not work for you because the airbag installs on the outside of the frame rail which is currently occupied by the factory prep package on your F-250. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs installs under the frame rail so there is no interference with the factory prep package.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs have a weight capacity of 5,000 lbs. However, what most do not realize is that this corresponds to pin weight, not gross trailer weight. The only part of the trailer that rests above the airbags is the tongue so that is all they need to be rated for.

I have attached a sample install video for you as well.

As of 2-3-2020, we only have air suspension for the front end of your truck. It is # F4160. For the rear, I recommend you consider the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-127-47 which are a fit for your truck and will give you support while giving you absorption. For stronger and stiffer support, you can use the Timbren # TFR350SDJ which are great for heavy loads but won't be as gentle when unloaded.
