It is absolutely possible to install a trailer hitch on your 2006 K-Z Escalade trailer; it will only require that your trailer have a box frame, C-channel frame, or I-beam frame that is between 22 inches and 72 inches wide.

Should your trailer have that you will be able to use the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # 13703 which will can either bolt or weld onto your trailer's frame. This is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver but please keep in mind it will require the use of Stabilizing Strap # 18050 if you plan to use the hitch for any accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier.

I have added a link to a video review of the hitch and strap, as well as installation instructions for the hitch for you to take a look at.

The Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # C13704 has a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs. I recommend checking out the Curt Trailer Hitch # # C13701 which has the 500 lb tongue weight capacity you are looking for. It requires your K-Z Escalade have a box frame, C-channel frame, or I-beam frame and the frame's width needs to be a minimum of 18 inches to a maximum of 51 inches.
