Timbren Jounce Spring Clearance to Axle in Ford F-250

Question:

I just bought the Timbrens for my 2017 SD. There is exactly 1/2 inch from the bottom of the Timbren to it strike point. Is that enough room or it is going to really change the ride in my truck.

You have your Timbren jounce bumpers installed correctly in your F-250. The ideal spacing from the bottom of the spring to the top of the axle is right around that same half-inch that you have. In some applications the gap can be larger but 1/2-inch is within spec. This is enough of a gap that the springs will not engage when the truck is unloaded but close enough that the springs will engage the axle when there is a load, either cargo in the bed or trailer tongue weight.
