Wiring 7-Way Connector on Jeep to Power Trailer Dome Light
Question:
I have a jeep with a 4 pin hookup I have an adapter that converts the 4 pin to a 7 way for the trailer to connect to. Everything works on the trailer except for the interior dome lights. Do I need a different adapter because it seems im not getting any auxiliary power?

It sounds like your trailer dome lights are wired to the 12V auxiliary power circuit on the trailer 7-Way connector. If this is the case and you are using a 4-Way to 7-Way adapter like the Tow Ready # 30717 on your Jeep then it's most likely just a matter of completing the auxiliary 12V circuit on the vehicle side.
What you will need to do is run a length of 10 gauge wiring # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) from the 12V pin on the 7-Way (11 o'clock position from the inside of the connector - see attached image) up to the Jeep's battery through a 40 amp breaker like # 9510. This will activate the 12V pin so that it provides power to your trailer dome lights when connected.
