Replacement Seals for 3,500 Pound Torsion Axles on a Horse Trailer
Question:
We have a 2013 Logan Rampage 2 horse Bumper pull with 3500 lb torsion axles 4 tires. Is there a way to determine the proper size grease seal without taking it apart?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Your 3,500 pound torsion axles most likely use 10-19 seals. For a set we have # RG06-050. These seals have an inner diameter of 1.719 inches and outer diameter of 2.565 inches.
The only way to know for sure is to measure the seal itself or the spindle diameter where the seal rides as well as the inner diameter of the hub where the seal fits. Or if you take just the wheel and tire off there could be a part number stamped into the hub that I could use to figure it out. There may also be a tag on the axle somewhere indicating which model it is and I could figure it out that way.
