Recommended Bike Rack Compatible with Toyota RAV4 with Rear Mounted Spare Tire

The Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting # S64683 will fit on your Toyota RAV4 with spare tire mounted on rear when in the transport position. The rack has a measurement of 12-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when folded down to transport your bikes.

It will not allow you to fold the rack closer to your vehicle for storage when not in use because the closest part of the rack is just 6 inches from the center of the hitch pin when folded.

You may want to consider the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
Item # SA4414B which might allow you to fold your rack when not in use as well. It has a measurement of 10 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when folded and 13-1/2 inches from the closest wheel cradle when transporting your bikes. You will need to measure to verify this.
