Will Custom-Fit Truck Bed Mat Require Trimming to Fit Over Drop-In Bed Liner

Question:

I have a 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat Super Crew. It came with a Ford drop-in liner...and Ive never owned one. My last two trucks had BedRug liners, and the one before them had a spray-on Rhino liner. Now, I see why...everything I put back there slides all over the place. So, Im looking for a mat that will lay on top of the drop-in Ford liner. My question is, will this Dee Zee mat fit over the top of a drop-in liner, without having to cut it to make it fit? I know some rubber mats require that when installing over a drop-in. I show the following measurements: Widest area in front of wheel wells - 57 Area between the wheel wells - 49 Widest area behind the wheels wells - 61 Area at rear post - 59 1/2 Length - 65 Even though I like the BedRugs, I looked at the BedRug mat and decided against it because of all the drilling you have to do into your drop-in liner to attach it. Thanks!

You will need to trim the DeeZee Custom-Fit Truck Bed Mat a bit to get it to fit over the drop-in liner on your 2018 Ford F-150. These mats are a custom-fit for trucks with bare or spray-on liners and what a drop-in liner does is change the effective dimensions of your bed.

The DeeZee Custom-Fit Truck Bed Mats available for your 2018 Ford F-150 are # DZ87005 (for a 5-1/2 foot bed), # DZ87006 (for a 6-1/2 foot bed) or # DZ87007 (for an 8 foot bed).

As you mentioned, the BedRugs # BMQ15SCD (5-1/2 foot bed) or # BMQ15SBD (6-1/2 foot bed) are the only covers that are specifically made for drop-in liners but I agree that the drilling required makes the DeeZee a better option, even with the trimming involved.
