Can Tire Chains be Used on a Vehicle Towing a Trailer

Question:

Would I still be okay to use these chains while towing? I have a 32foot TT that weights about 6500 #s.

Yes, you can absolutely use the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains part # TC3229S while towing. However, if the vehicle sags when the trailer is coupled then you will need to make sure you still have the recommended clearance which is laid out in your owner's manual. If you can let me know the year, make, and model of your vehicle I would be happy to look that up for you. Also, if you can let me know what size tires are on the vehicle I can make sure you have the correct size tire chains.

Have you thought about using tire chains on the trailer as well? Generally speaking, if conditions or regulations warrant tire chains to be used on a vehicle then they will also be required/recommend for the trailer. For example, in California when tire chains are needed trailers with brakes must have chains on at least one axle. If you can let me know what size tires are on your trailer I can make some recommendations.
