Does Lid of Tekonsha Trailer Breakaway Kit with Battery Charger # 50-85-313 Need to Face Up

Can this unit be installed with the LED indicator facing the truck or must it be installed with the indicator facing up where it is harder to see??

Since the battery that goes in the Tekonsha Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit with Built-In Battery Charger # 50-85-313 has to point up at all times the lid also needs to be on top of the box as well. I attached an install video for this kit for you to check out as well.
