Recommended Roof Box for 2018 Volvo XC60

We have a large selection of roof cargo boxes that will work well on your 2018 Volvo XC60. The specific color you choose will really be a matter of personal preference but I like the look of a glossy black box like the Thule Motion XT # TH629906 or the more economically priced Malone # MPG911 on your Volvo. The box you choose will also depend on how much space you are needing for cargo. The Thule Motion XT will provide 22 cubic feet of space while the Malone Box will give you 18 cubic feet of storage space.
Another factor you will want to note in terms of fit is the rear hatch clearance on your vehicle with the box mounted. To determine if you will have enough space behind the rear of the box to fully open the hatch, you will want to take a measurement from the center of the front crossbar to the line where the roof and hatch meet. For you to have the needed clearance with the Thule Motion XT this measurements needs to be at least 55 inches. For the shorter Malone Box you will actually measure from the center of the rear crossbar to the hatch line. This measurement just needs to be at least 21 inches.
