Hitch Adapter With Rise for Class I Trailer Hitch on 2018 Honda Fit

Question:

I have a cargo tray thatll fit a Class 1 Hitch but its sitting pretty low on my Honda FIt with this hitch. Any hitch adapter risers you know of? My cargo tray can also be converted to a 2inch if that helps.

The Brophy Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver with 5" Rise # HT5R can be used with a Class I hitch like the Draw-Tite # 24920 you have on your 2018 Honda Fit but there is an important catch: the use of an adapter will reduce the capacity of your hitch by 50 percent.

What that means is that the 200 lb tongue weight capacity of your hitch will be reduced to 100 lbs so themost your cargo tray and its cargo could weigh is 100 lbs. If that weight capacity will work for you then you would need to use Pin and Clip # PC2 to secure the adapter in your 1-1/4" receiver.
