We are trying to mount our Thule Frontier Cargo box to the factory installed cross bars on my 2011 Toyota 4-runner, would the Thule TH04997 luggage box adapter kit work?

I spoke with my contact at Thule and the Thule Frontier Cargo box will fit on the factory cross bars on your 2011 Toyota 4Runner, as long as the box is not older than 10 years old.

If the box is older than 10 years old and uses hardware similar to the Replacement Quick Mount Hardware, # TH04997, then it could be used to mount the box to the factory cross bars on your 4 runner.
