Rear Bumper Clearance for the Draw-Tite # 76025 on a 2012 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Hello! Im looking to install a hitch receiver on our 2012 Odyssey. I think Im going with the Draw-Tite 76025 because of how it hides itself. My question is what is the distance from the hitch to the rear-most edge of the bumper? If you happen to have that info. Is there a hitch receiver that sticks out more than the others? I use a Draftmaster bike rack that leans quite a bit toward the vehicle. On my last van VW Routan I got the 87451 Class III Hitch - Chrysler/volkswagen Minivan and the clearance was about half an inch between the rack and the rear bumper - Which is AOK and perfect. Im attaching some photos of the Routan/Draftmaster set up I wish I had thought to taken close-ups before we traded it for the Odyssey Thanks for any guidance!

Thank you for all of the information and the pictures!
I am not sure what year Routan you had but when we installed the Draw-Tite # 75579 (which replaced the 87451) on a 2009 Volkswagen Routan from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper measured 5". On a 2010 it measured 4-3/4", on a 2011 it measured 5", and on a 2012 it measured 5-1/2".
When we installed the Draw-Tite # 76025 on a similar 2012 Honda Odyssey to what you have that same measurement was 5". So unless you had a 2010 Routan the rear bumper clearance will be almost exactly the same. If you did have a 2010 Routan then the bike rack will most likely sit about 1/4" closer to the bumper and you may want to go with the Draw-Tite # 75270 which measured 6".
I have attached all of the installation videos that I referenced for you to check out as well.
