How Much Does the CURT Roof Mount Cargo Basket Weigh, Does the Fairing Have to be Removed

May i ask the weight of this roof basket?. Also I have thule faring attached to the roof bars., Since this basket has a faring too. Should I leave the basket faring on or take it off?. Thak you

The CURT Roof Mount Cargo Basket, # C18115, has a shipping weight of 40 pounds. If you subtract the packaging weight, it will weigh between 35 and 40 pounds. The crossbar fairing that you currently have should not interfere with the fairing on the cargo basket. having both fairings on should not cause any problems and might prove to be beneficial. You can experiment with having one on or both off to see what suits you best. I have included a link to the installation details for the basket for you.
