Using Ram Scissor Stabilizing Jacks on Uneven Ground
Question:
Should the foot on the jack be tight or have a little movement in in to adjust for uneven ground or hard ground? It seems like at times part of the foot hits and part of it doesn’t. I have these jacks on a used travel trailer I bought. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

The foot of the Ram Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TJSC-24 should not be loosened to adjust for uneven ground. While it is true that the feet do not adjust with the terrain you do need to do your best to ensure that the feet are as solidly on the ground and as level as possible in order for them to give you the best performance to stabilize and level your trailer.
