Solution for Removing Fifth Wheel Hitch that Doesnt Want to Slide Out of Rails  

Question:

I want to remove the hitch from the rails and have removed the pins. But it will not come out of the slots from where the legs are, like it is stuck. What can I do?

One thing you can try is hitch up to a fifth wheel trailer, remove the pins of the feet of the hitch and then use the trailer's landing gear jacks to raise the nose of the trailer and hitch out of the rails in the truck bed. It's possible you put too much weight on the hitch and the legs/tabs bent or the rails bent so you'd want to inspect that once you get the hitch out.
