Question:
SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle Item # SSR-114-54 What is considered occasional hauling? I tow with my 2012 F-250 every weekend during spring, summer, and fall. The trailer that I haul is 8000# empty with a max load of 14000#. When not towing the trailer is unhooked from truck. Thank you

Occasional Towing and Hauling is one of the facets we use to help narrow options from constant load meaning always engaged systems and the commercial vehicle towing daily applications. Even though you tow more often than many, you would still fit that category. The Super Springs SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-114-54 are a great choice for your suspension enhancement. They will not require any maintenance and will engage progressively so you will get support as it is needed. When not under load, they will not impact your factory suspension. These are the best option for zero maintenance and yet support under load.
If you want a system that is adjustable, then I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57395 which will allow you to adjust the air from 5 psi to 100 psi to give you your desired ride. Because of the maintenance in adjusting, if you choose a system like this I recommend adding an air compressor like # AL25854 to give you the ability to change your ride at anytime for your regular trips. This will allow you to change the ride whether towing or not and whether empty or fully loaded.
