Troubleshooting 4-Way on 2007 Kia Sedona with Only LeftStop/Turn Signal Working
Question:
I have a 2007 Kia Sedona with a 4 pin plug. The used a tester and confirmed that I am only getting power to the left tail light/yellow wire. The brake lights work for that side. The tail lights do not work on either side and I am getting no power from the brown and green parts of the plug when checked with a multimeter.

It sounds like the wiring for your 4-Way connector is either damaged or the unit itself is worn out. You can try using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to pierce the wiring harness at different points (if the wiring itself looks good) to determine where the signal drop off occurs. It is always best to check your ground connection as well.
If you are able to locate where the drop off is then you can simply replace the 4-Way with part # 18252 but instead of using the quick splicers it would be better to use the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05744-5 as they are watertight and more durable.
If you can't find a signal at all then I recommend replacing the whole unit with the Tekonsha T-One # 118410. This plugs in behind your taillights and then is powered by running a line up to your battery. This ensures that the circuits on your 2007 Kia Sedona are not overdrawn by trailer or accessory lighting.
