Installing a 4-Way to 5-Way Trailer Wiring Adapter on a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe SE

Question:

I have a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe SE with the towing package. I see instructions on your web-site for installing the wiring, but do not see how to hook up a 5 flat connector for my boat that has brakes on it. It only shows the 4 flat. Thanks

For a 5-Way flat, you will need to add an adapter to the Draw-Tite Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118258. You can use the Adapter 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter, # 20036. Installation is simple. Just plug in the 4-Way to the adapter and then connect the extra blue wire to a reverse light circuit. I have included a link to a video that shows the adapter being installed on a similar vehicle.
