The turret on a Sidewinder like the Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret part # RP34FR will be fairly difficult to turn by hand especially if it is new. It will loosen up over time but it will still be rather difficult to turn by hand. If you need to manually turn the turret you may will want to obtain a large/long pry bar and wedge it into the mounting bracket while applying pressure to turn the turret. Unfortunately they do not make any sort of tool for this but a large/long pry bar preferably with a handle would suffice.
