Draw Bars are needed for towing. Another name for them, that to me makes more sense, is "ball mount" Basically this is the piece of metal that inserts into the hitch opening that holds the hitch ball for your trailer to connect to. If you want to tow with your 2007 Dodge Caliber you will need a ball mount. First you need a hitch installed though. For that the Draw Tite part # 24769 is the correct fit. And then for a ball mount/draw bar you'd want the part # 3591 which is what Draw Tite recommends for your vehicle.
The hitch ball you need depends on what the coupler of your trailer requires. We have the 2 inch ball part # 19258 and the 1-7/8 inch ball part # 19256. Look at the coupler on your trailer and the size ball it needs will be listed there.
Last thing you'll need is trailer wiring. For that you'd want the part # C55050 which is a confirmed custom fit and will work well.
