In order to tow a camper with your 2018 Jeep Compass (new body style) you will need a trailer hitch, wiring harness, and ball mount/hitch ball. I have attached my recommendations on each of these items for you below however, before you make a purchase I suggest taking a look in the vehicle's owner's manual to find your towing capacity or any other specifications for towing with your vehicle.

For the trailer hitch I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76144 which is a custom fit that installs using pre drilled holes in the frame and will not require any drilling. For a trailer wiring harness, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56369 which is also a custom fit and will not require any slicing.

In order to choose the correct ball mount/hitch ball you would need to take a couple of measurements which is explained in the attached help article but the Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 should have everything you need.
