Will Prodigy P3 Brake Controller Eliminate Delay in Trailer Brake Application

Question:

Hello I have a f450 dually XLT 2014 and a 36 ft trailer so I charge to 25000lbs. With the original controller, when I brake there is always a response time before the brake of the trailer operates. My question is this: Does this system correct the problem of late response? I still have to mount my current controller to 8 and I always traveled 10 to 15 meters before the trailer brakes. Thanks,
