Do CE Smith Carpeted Bunk Boards use Treated Wood
Question:
Are the 2x4 bunk boards themselves treated? I see it says the carpet is marine grade but I didnt see anything stating marine grade or pressure treated lumber.

Expert Reply:
The wood of the CE Smith Carpeted Bunk Boards # CE27840 is not treated lumber, just the carpeting as you mentioned. The marine-grade carpet is designed to be resistant to weather and mold to help the boards last.
These bunk boards are 72" long x 1-3/4" wide x 3-3/4" tall and will mount to your trailer with existing brackets or with Swivel Bracket Assemblies # CE10000G-4.
