Recommended Rear Anti-Sway Bar for 2007 Chevy Express Class C Chassis
Question:
I have a 2007 chevy express class C built in 12/06. I do have the shock mounts with the holes in the rear. Going by the build dates I should need the axle mount kit but it looks like all the kit does is supply a mount base which it looks like I already have. Is the mounting base the only reason for the kit?

I checked with Roadmaster and did verify that the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1109-175-00 is confirmed to fit your 2007 Chevy Express Class C chassis. The axle mounting kit (which is included with this part number) is indeed to allow for an attachment point and base on the axle. My contact did say that if the chassis was built before 6/2006 the kit should be needed.
Take a look at the installation video I attached so you can see exactly how the bracket kit is used. If you can send me a picture of your existing setup, I will also be happy to verify with Roadmaster if the mounting kit is needed for your specific application.
