Adding Rhino Rack Tracks to a 2017 Ford F-150 with Camper Shell
Question:
I have a 2017 F150 with Yakima Tracks installed. I like the Rhino Rack better than the Yakima racks because of the channel to add t-bolt accessories. Is there a way I can attach a Rhino Rack to my Yakima tracks? I have the Yakima anchor plates Ainch already. If this is possible, I would also like to purchase the rack with the F150 naked kit as well as I have a 14 foot canoe Id like to put on top so I might need to place on rack on the cap and the other on the cab of the truck. The Yakima Tracks part # Y01126 and Rhino Rack Tracks part # RTS507 and very similar so you can use their mounting feet on each other's rails. In order to use a Rhino Rack Crossbar System with the Yakima Tracks, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs part # RRRLT600 with the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars part # RRVA150B-2.
For your 2017 Ford F-150, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System which is composed of part # RRVA150B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK427. This system has the same aero crossbars as listed above which have the integrated t-slots like you mentioned. Please keep in mind that this system only works with SuperCab and SuperCrew Cab models.
