Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2018 Honda CR-V for Using 4-Bike Rack

To secure a 4-bike hitch-mounted carrier to your 2018 Honda CR-V, I recommend a Class III trailer hitch, specifically the Draw-Tite Max Frame Round Tube # 76128. This hitch is confirmed to fit your CR-V and will use existing holes in its frame for a no-drill installation. It will provide you with a 2 inch receiver opening and plenty of tongue weight capacity to safely support a bike rack and 4 bikes.

If you are still looking for a bike rack, I recommend taking a look at the Yakima RidgeBack # Y02458. This is a really nice hanging-style rack that can handle 4 bikes with a total weight of 150 pounds. It features dual arms for easy loading and anti-sway cradles that will hold the bikes at 3 different points. A hitch lock is included to secure the rack to your vehicle but I do recommend adding a Cable Lock # Y02466 to secure the bikes to the rack.
