Recommended Flat Towing Components for 2005 Jeep Wrangler

For your 2005 Jeep Wrangler to be flat towed, I recommend starting with the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit # RM-521424-5. This will install easily with some Loctite Threadlocker # LT37420.
Then for your tow bar, I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - 6,000 lbs # RM-520 which will fit the 2 inch receiver on your motorhome and connect to your base plates. Then for safety cables, I recommend The Roadmaster # RM-643 which will coil and keep tension so they don't drag on the ground.
Then for your tow bar wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This uses diodes to utilize your vehicle wiring while protecting your system and also allows you to run a charge line to your vehicle battery. I also recommend using the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 to give that maintenance charge to your battery so it isn't depleted over the distance traveled.
Then for your supplemental braking system, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251. This system will apply the brakes in your Jeep at the same time and with the same pressure as you hit the brakes in your motorhome. This system is easy to install and adjust and simply becomes plug and play after the initial installation. You will also need the Roadmaster relay # RM-88400 to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.
Finally, you will need a high-low adapter. I've attached an article to help you with the correct measurements for your motorhome and Jeep. I've also linked the page to all your high-low adapter options to assist.
