Does Reese 5th Airborne Air Ride Pin Box Alter Height of King Pin Compared to OEM 1621 Pin Box
Question:
I am researching air pin boxes. I have a 1621 pin box Gross trailer 12200lb. Looking at Trailair and 5th airborne king boxes. My question when setup how does the of the king pin height affected over standard 1621 pin box. I am towing level now or very close to level. I have hitch adjusted to lowest setting and do not want to buy a pin box that would raise front of 5th wheel camper Thanks

We have two Reese 5th Airborne Premium Air Ride Couplers to replace the Lippert model 1621 pin box on your trailer. Model # RP78FR is rated for 20K and model # 5AB-E1621-610 is rated for 21K.
Both of these cushioned pin boxes are direct bolt-on replacements for your Lippert 1621 and both will keep the same king pin height as your 1621 as long as you use the same mounting holes. They will mount using the same hardware that holds the OEM pin box in place.
