Recommended Weight Distribution System for 2016 Flagstaff 425D Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2015 Chrysler town and country with a curt receiver rated for 5000 lbs max trailer weight and 500lbs max tongue weight when using a Weight distribution hitch. We have a 2016 Flagstaff 425D that has a GVWR of 3300 lbs and a 300lb dry tongue weight. What weight distribution hitch would you recommend?

When looking for a weight distribution system you want to take the loaded tongue weight as well as any cargo behind the rear axle and have that total tongue weight ideally fall in the middle of the range for the WD system.
My recommendation for your weight distribution system is the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion # RP66558. This system uses friction material similar to automotive brake pads to assist with controlling trailer sway. Then you will need a hitch ball like # 63845 for a 2 inch diameter ball or # 63847 for a 2-5/16 inch diameter ball.
For a more cost efficient option, I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0600. This system has 2 point sway control and will require a hitch ball like # A-90 or # 19286 and also a thin walled socket # ALL643216 for installation. This system doesn't use the friction material but does utilize the metal on metal friction for sway control.
