Question:
My boat trailer has Kodiak 204 calipers. I have having a hard time finding them it seems the 225 is the most common....are these interchangeable?

The Kodiak 225 calipers # KDBC225S fit 3,500 lb 10 inch assemblies as well as 12 inch rotors up to 5,200 lbs. The 204 calipers fit 3,500 lb axles with 10 inch assemblies. The 225 calipers are more prominent than the 204 calipers but they are not directly interchangeable. I reached out to my contact at Dexter (who bought out Kodiak) and he said the mounting locations are slightly different and the piston size is different with the 204 model being roughly a 2 inch diameter piston and the 225 being a 2-1/4 inch piston. They both work on 3,500 lb axles but the 225 will have stronger braking than the 204 so they shouldn't be used on opposite sides the same axle together.
We do not carry parts for the 204 model calipers, but we do carry the separate parts for the 225 model. You can use mounting bracket # KCMB10RD and calipers # KDBC225DAC. You can then use Kodiak Ceramic Brake Pads - 3,500 lbs to 6,000 lbs # K225CP or steel backing plate # K225CPSS with the 225 calipers.
