Motorcycle has 4-Way Flat and Trailer has 5-Way Round Connectors
Question:
I have a 4 pin flat on my motorcycle and I have acquired trailer with a 5 pin round. How do I remedy this situation?

Expert Reply:
If that is the only trailer that you plan on towing with your motorcycle then I recommend simply replacing your 4-Way Flat with the Pollak # PK11502. Simply cut the 4-Way off and connect the wires so that they match up functions with your trailer.
I believe that your 5-Way on your trailer has the turn and stop signals separated. If this is the case then you would need to install the Curt # C56196 before the 5-Way Round connector to match up the functions.
